The human body in public space as a sculpture and documenting through photography.

CONTENTS
We will ask questions about public space as well as our own, individual space of action. With which code of conduct do we act there? How are we influenced and what expectations do we have in order to behave in public space? How can we override these patterns for a moment? Which overcoming costs us that? After an introduction to the task given to me by one or two productions of the whole class through me, the students are released in small groups in the public space. There they will use their classmates to develop compositions of body and urban space and document them with the camera. (Sometimes they are sent out to find places, to photograph them in order to conceptually develop the picture in the printouts of these still "empty" pictures.) Where would a body have to go to develop an exciting picture?) Both the composition in public space and the illustration (the photograph or perhaps a short video documenting the performative action) are important in its design. The experience of image and spatial composition in the two- as well as in the three-dimensional are brought into focus.

OBJECTIVE
Each participant contributes to a different perspective. It is a special experience, both for the actors and the performer, to see and understand how easily we can influence and change a place as we consciously deal with it and question the place and our ordinary behavior. It takes no great technical effort to learn that we are a part of the whole and can determine what value and quality that hides that place. Reality can simply be turned upside down and absurd gestures suddenly make sense. The new needs a form and the experience a value. After working in public space, the resulting photographs and sketches are considered and discussed. Each participant decides to have a picture staged by him / her which should also be printed out.
