The workshop format can be booked with me. It is suitable for all ages from 10 years and up.

We ask ourselves questions about sculpture and body, crazy prostheses that we would like to have like superheroes and how we find them in everyday waste. Students will learn the steps from design to manufacture to presentation of a wearable sculpture. After a small presentation about the beamer, a short discourse from an artistic point of view and the introduction to the task, the students will be able to start directly with their ideas in material collages, material explorations and experiments with their idiosyncratic, crazy sculptural exoprosthetic objects, which are attached to the body can be worn to shape. Egg cartons, plastic bags, cans, tetrapacks, bubble wrap, ribbons, boxes, CDs, rescue blankets, fishing nets, etc. become colorful sculptures by gluing, sewing or pinning. When working with these materials, the students are made aware of the sustainable use of raw materials and they learn how many creative ways there are to recycle waste.
