The work SURROUNDINGS # das geschiebe explores the relationship between body and landscape. Not as opposites, but as a mutual permeation. The environment becomes a co-environment. The outside is always already an inside. We are not separate from the world – we are inscribed within it, like water in paper, like the movement of sediment and stone, like the wind in the flag.
