In the installation STILL_es_LEBEN_2020, the year 2020 and the associated restrictions on everyday life caused by the pandemic are reflected on several levels. For two days I visited class 10 of the Friedrichsort community school and, as part of a workshop with the class, examined an adequate possibility of depicting and translating what was experienced during the “lockdown”. After a presentation of some of my own artistic work and a lively discussion in the class about it, I gave the students the suggestion and the task of finding motifs themselves that would photographically implement the topic "lockdown". Due to the invitation from the competence center Learning through Engagement in Schleswig-Holstein and the "match" with the teacher Mrs. Kerstin Lorenzen and her 10th class, it made sense for me to invite the students themselves to take part in the exhibition again. The photos taken by the students were sent to me and I developed a series of postcards from them. This series of students works now flanks my commissioned work STILL_es_LEBEN_2020 during the exhibition in January 2022 at the pop-up-pavillon in Kiel.
