farewell, 2019

Art on Architecture Order on the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) in Kiel.
Our design of the farewell room at the new building of the Hospital is a continuation of the design of the palliative ward. Golden lines symbolize the airflow of a flying goose. The drawing of the goos is based on text. A poem by Hans Fallada.
In the mythology the geese are seen as a connection between heaven and earth. With our design of the farewell room we try to pass some hope to the surviving relatives.
